Still haven’t finished any new artwork but here’s my conure PJ getting a snuggle. I’ve been slowly working with him on reducing his anxiety after his rescue, and after two years of baby steps he honestly trusts me for a cuddle and that makes me very happy 😊 (and for those wondering, no he is not being held there, I don’t ever hold my birds in place. He’s just nestled against my cupped hand.)

Considering doing some trades or taking some commissions to conquer the art block.

Okay, work has slowed down (a little), and I’m trying to get my creativity back in gear. Going to be working on some personal projects too, but if anyone wants to do a sketch swap or something, I’m game 💪 it’ll give me some new things to draw!

I needed to doodle something today because I’m out of practice with my tablet and wanted to play around new brushes. Here’s a speedy drawing of Iggy’s crooked smile. He basically hinges it on one tusk and smirks with the other side of his mouth, which I think is adorable. Enjoy.

The nonprofit I work for holds an auction each year to help support our operations; this is the piece I contributed this year!

It’s free to register and place bids, and we ship to folks! Last year my piece sold low, so it’s a shot to get your hands on some fun traditional sizey art for a bargain! This piece hasn’t budged from the starting $60 since it opened, so maybe score a deal and help an arts nonprofit while you’re at it!

Sorry for being MIA again, big fundraiser and lots of things to do at work. I’m exhausted and haven’t had headspace for creativity or being social.

I will be posting the piece I made to donate to the fundraiser, in case anyone wants to bid on some fun traditional gt themed art.

Hopefully more from me in the near future, thanks for sticking with me ❤

Need to make more art again, but have been in a funk and can’t get the creative juices flowing. Adult life is so all-consuming I don’t even have ideas atm 😐 anyone have some inspiration that might move my pencil?

Are there any services Iggy can go to to help with his PTSD? Also how does he comfort his friends if they're having a bad day?

The JunkTown universe is recovering out of an apocalyptic war scenario, society is coming back together, but there’s not a whole lot of resources available medically save for what has risen from the ashes of days past. Iggy does have some of the best resources around though, because he can access Doc and Celio!

Doc was a field medic bot with post-war programming advanced to be a well-rounded clinician, including mental health. He’s got an abrasive personality, but he’s good to his patients. Celio is Doc’s nurse, who has wanted to be a doctor since a young age. He’s basically an apprentice to Doc and has read every unearthed medical text he can get his hands on. He’s a very supportive friend to Iggy when the big guy comes to JunkTown.

When Ozzy or another of Iggy’s friends is having a bad day, he’s the picture of gentle support. He’s the type to make someone comfortable through hospitality: a place to rest, an ear to listen. He’s fond of hot drinks for comfort and shares that. He’d love to cook for people but he’s not good at it, and has very eccentric taste in food. Rather, you could expect an invitation to his cabin to relax and listen to music and have some coffee or hot cocoa.

It’s my birthday! 🎂 I’ve been too crazy busy at work to plan any celebrating, but I’m 28 now!

Have been feeling way down the past few days, but I want to fight through it. I also just want to try and be more social again.

Stowaway has been in progress, and if I can find an editor to work with chapters may start to go up officially. In preparation, here’s a new ID for Iggy since the big guy has evolved a lot.

This is also relevant for those who want to know a bit more about Iggy!
